Listed here are a few of the more frequently asked questions, including our policies. If you still have questions, no worries! Just send an email flying our way!
For larger projects, we sometimes ask for a 50% deposit, then another 25% deposit partway through, with the final 25% upon completion. This is determined at the initial contract stage, usually, so you’ll know ahead of time if it’s needed.
We use PayPal to make payments quick, easy, and secure for everyone involved. And if you don’t have a PayPal account, that’s okay – they also accept major credit cards.
During the creative process, you’ll be given the opportunity to see what we’re doing and let us know if we’re going in the right direction. From there, it depends on how quickly you are able to respond with approval or necessary changes, and whether or not we need to work with another freelancer or contractor on your behalf. (A web designer or programmer, for example.)
If you do have a deadline, please advise us as soon as possible and we will try to accommodate you.
However, if for some reason you feel the need to take a completely different route, we allow one major ‘restart’ where we try again from (close-to) scratch. We’ll probably need further details from you to find out what we missed the first time, and cannot promise, at this point, to meet a designated deadline.
Although we’re confident that we can meet your goals, sometimes it just doesn’t work – the project would then be subject to our cancellation policy, detailed below.
- If you have paid your 50% deposit but have not yet received any work from us, then your deposit will be returned in full to the same credit card/account as it was originally paid from.
- If you have paid your 50% deposit and we have begun work on your website (design or writing), then your deposit is forfeit, in payment for our time. You will be notified when we’re ready to start.
- If you have paid 100% in full and have received the final invoice and the finished product, you’ll have two weeks to review and decide if you’re happy with what you’ve received, from the date the final invoice is issued. In that case, if you decided you still wanted to cancel, you would be given 50% of your funds back. After fifteen days from date the final invoice is issued, no funds will be returned, even should you decide not to use the finished product.
Note: If you do cancel, your right to use any finished or unfinished original content (such as web copy or logo) and any paid-on-your-behalf content (such as the premium WordPress theme) is forfeit and will be removed. We cannot refund the web hosting service once purchased; you will need to speak directly to the company whom you purchased it from.
We will not share, give, or sell any information collected by this website, by email, or through our communications, to a third party without your explicit permission. We require consent to share information with a contractor on your behalf, such as a web designer.
Information collected is used during the course of the project. We then save your information for repeat or return clients to provide better service. We are very willing to erase this information upon request.
